Trésor Burgundy Damask Camel-Back Sofa | Luxury Rococo Gold-Carved Three-Seater Sofa - EKAR FURNITURE
There are sofas that furnish a room, and there are sofas that define it, and the Trésor Burgundy Damask Camel-Back Sofa by EKAR FURNITURE belongs firmly in the second category. Conceived in the richly ornamental language of Rococo and Victorian design, this three-seater combines a deep burgundy damask body with a crown of antique gold carving, creating a piece that reads as heritage furniture the moment it enters a room. As a premier high-end furniture customization factory, we have crafted this sofa for clients who want their living rooms to carry the weight of tradition, born from our renowned Foshan furniture factory.
The silhouette is anchored by a high, contoured camelback backrest that rises and falls in a graceful arch, flanked by outward-curving arms that sweep down to scrolled ends. The entire frame and the three individual seat cushions are upholstered in a dark, reddish-brown fabric reminiscent of mahogany or deep burgundy, its surface woven with a complex, repeating damask or brocade floral pattern in a lighter golden-brown thread. The subtle shimmer of this metallic thread catches the light as you move, giving the deep fabric a quiet, living texture that rewards closer attention.
The woodwork of the sofa is its most theatrical feature, showcasing the capabilities of our Foshan custom furniture factory. Crafted in very dark, polished wood heavily accented with antique gold-finished carvings, the crest rail runs the top edge of the backrest as a continuous wave of intricate carving, its center marked by a large focal composition of acanthus leaves and scrolls in gold. The arms terminate in scrolled ends heavily decorated with gold leaf carvings, while beneath the seat cushions a continuous decorative wooden border runs the length of the sofa, its ornate undulating carvings punctuated by a large circular gold medallion carving at the center. This level of custom furniture artistry gives the sofa a sense of being carved, not merely assembled.
The seating experience is completed by four square throw pillows arranged across the backrest: the outer pair in light tan or champagne-gold satin with a fine subtle pattern, and the inner pair in deep black velvet trimmed with thick, ornate gold braided fringe, a rich contrast that frames the center of the sofa. Six cabriole legs support the piece, four across the front and two at the back, each in dark wood with gold-carved details at the knees and small rounded feet. As a leading provider of export furniture, EKAR has engineered this sofa with kiln-dried hardwood framing, high-recovery cushioning, and reinforced joinery built for years of formal entertaining. Our global reputation is anchored by the high standards of our Foshan export furniture factory, with profound and sustained demand within the India import furniture sector, where clients in Mumbai and New Delhi commission statement seating for palatial residences and five-star hospitality projects.
Choosing EKAR means tapping into the comprehensive resources of a premier Foshan custom furniture factory that prioritizes bespoke character and technical integrity over mass production.
